HOLIDAY & SPECIAL OCCASION ORDER DEADLINES

Christmas Order Deadline 2018

Canadian orders with in BC:  To avoid Canada Postal Office Disruption delays, please select pick up. To flag your order for pick up, please see here. Orders that need to be shipped will likely be ok if placed before November 24, but because of the strike there is a possibility of a delay. 


FOR PICK UP ORDERS:

***Orders placed for and flagged for pick up on or  BEFORE NOVEMBER 25th WILL BE GUARANTEED TO ARRIVE AT THE LOCAL SPACE AT LEAST 1-1.5 WEEKS BEFORE CHRISTMAS. It will be dropped off even earlier if possible. If you flag your order for pick up using the instructions here, you will be emailed when your order is ready for pick up.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to flag your order for pick up, you have to use the instructions here, so that we are on the same page! 

Orders placed AFTER November 25th will not be guaranteed to arrive at The Local Space for pick up but this will be updated to be extended if POSSIBLE. Please watch social media or contact me  to see if the deadline has been extended.

Orders have been extended for PICK UP for Christmas: December 11, 11:59 PM PST or until the website closes that day. (Whichever one comes first).  THE BATCH ON DECEMBER 11TH WILL ARRIVE AT THE PICK UP LOCATION JUST BEFORE CHRISTMAS, AROUND THE 21/22 :)

****Please note, The Local Space has their own hours and are out of the control of Mint & Birch. 

Orders that are shipped may not be guaranteed for Christmas due to Canada Post Strikes. We are currently working hard to create courier options.

Canadian orders outside of BC: Due to Canada Postal Office disruption, we advise getting orders in ASAP to get them in time for Christmas. We are unable to provide further information as we cannot control union/postal worker negotiations. We will do our best to change our carrier options to UPS/Canpar/Purolator.


US/International orders: November 18. US packages will be unaffected by the Canada Post strike as we use USPS for all our US orders.

PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR ORDER WITHOUT COMPLETE CUSTOMIZATION NOTES. This will NOT hold your spot. Order forms are printed out as soon as the order comes in, and if is incomplete we may not be able to complete it in a timely manner. Your order is at risk of being cancelled if we don't get your notes! Please ensure that you have full and complete customization notes in your order, otherwise we will not be able to start your order without knowing what you'd like on your necklace and this may delay the start time of your necklace as I will have to wait for you to complete the customization notes. 

Delivery time from ship date to arriving in your mailbox will depend on the post office, but we will get all orders into the post office BEFORE the deadlines that are set by the post offices to ensure Christmas Delivery. These deadlines set by the post offices we use are the below in italics. 


For Canadian Customers for Canada Post:
Regular Parcel/Xpresspost/Priority within BC : December 21
Outside of BC: Varies, To be conservative and safe we will follow December 13

Untracked Mail within BC: December 20
Untracked Mail outside of BC: December 18

*Please note current Canada Post disruptions, there is no way for us to guarantee how the strike/union negations will proceed.

According to USPS, Holiday packages must be in by:
WITHIN USA, Residential Deliveries
First Class: December 20
Priority: December 22
(Excludes Alaska & Hawaii)




Please note that the above dates are provided to us by the post offices of Canada Post and USPS. These are the dates we need to get your packages into the post office by.
