CHAIN REPAIR & REPLACEMENT

INSTRUCTIONS: PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY AND CAREFULLY

  1.  If your necklace is a bar, we need to have your necklace back to attach it to the new chain. Please send it with the bar propped between slits on a small piece of cardboard. If the break is close to the bar, please use slits on the piece of cardboard to wrap the chain around to prevent the chain from being tangled. Please be respectful of hygiene and ensure that it is free from, perfume, scents, chemicals, excess sweat or grime before sending it. We acknowledge that these are not brand new necklaces and  that it will not be completely clean, but we will not be able to work on your necklace if we feel it is not sanitary to do so, or if there is a strong perfume scent to your necklace. If your necklace is scented, we will not be able to work on your repair and your package will be returned to you as is. If necessary, you can clean it by rinsing it in water and dabbing it dry with a soft cloth. Please include a note inside the package with a few notes on our correspondence and with your full name and order number. Failure to do so will result in delays of the repair and replacement process.
  2. Send it back to the address at the bottom of this page. DO NOT send it back to our box in Blaine. If it is sent to Blaine, it will not be retrieved. It must be shipped directly to our studio so that we can fix your necklace. All the information will be as followed below.  Please continue to read all of the information below first :)
  3. Step 3. This is VERY MPORTANT(If you are within Canada, you can disregard this information and simply send it back to the address below. If you are outside of Canada, please see the following instructions).

Please ensure that you mark the necklace properly on the customs form. As noted, our studio is in Canada and you will need to return the chain to Canada for us to fix or replace. (If you are in Canada, you can disregard the info below and simply ship as per usual). Please ensure that you mark it correctly. If it looks like it is something we purchased from you, we will be charged incorrectly for duties and taxes in which case we will not accept the package and mark it as "return to sender." PLEASE MARK IT AS "CANADIAN GOODS RETURNING FOR WARRANTY REPAIR." YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO ATTACH A COPY OF THE INVOICE OF THE ORIGINAL NECKLACE ONLY (NOT THE CHAIN REPAIR INVOICE) ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGE. If you do not have an invoice or receipt, please email me and we will send you the invoice/receipt. Please ensure the invoice is not cut up or has any information missing. You can fold it in a zip lock bag and take the zip lock bag on the package, or however you feel is the best way to secure your invoice. This means we need a total of TWO INVOICES, one on the inside of the package and one taped to the outside. We did not purchase this necklace from you- you purchased it from us. Please do NOT attach the repair invoice. ONLY attach the original necklace invoice.  The information on the invoice MUST match the information on your return address in its entirety. If you need the necklace invoice again, please let us know and we can resend it. Please ask your local USPS office or call the customs office for help to correctly fill out the customs form with the correct tariff codes to indicate that this is an item returning to canada. By requesting a chain repair, you fully recognize that we will not accept the package in the case that anything is filled out incorrectly, and you fully accept that the post office may accidentally flag it for duties or customs in which case we will not be able to accept it and it will be sent back. To avoid this, please ensure you follow all of our instructions, including a proper tariff code.

Again, we need you to make sure of  3 things for this step:
A.) Marked as "Canadian Goods returning for warranty repair."

B.) A printed copy of the receipt for the necklace only, NOT the repair on the outside of the package and the information on the invoice MUST match the information on your package. Please ensure the invoice is not cut up or has any information missing. If you need the invoice re-emailed to you, please let us know. This means we need a total of TWO INVOICES, one on the inside of the package and one taped to the outside.

C.) The customs form is marked correctly, with the tariff codes to indicate that this is an item returning to Canada for repair and is Canadian good returning for warranty or repair. If any postal/extra fees incur because of a failure to fill out the form correctly, or if postage fees are not paid for, we will send an invoice, or the item will possibly be marked as return to sender.  By requesting a chain repair, you fully recognize that we will not accept the package in the case that anything is filled out incorrectly. It will be marked as return to sender and that there is always a chance that it could be flagged as not having enough postage or accidentally flagged for fees. To avoid this, please follow all the instructions above.

We will send your necklace back with plain packaging, using the method you selected at check out as the method of shipping. We will generally send it back out to you how it is sent to us.  By sending your necklace, back, you acknowledge that in the case that we are incorrectly charged duties or taxes due to failure to adhere to these instructions, the item will be refused and marked as "return to sender."

Thank you! Let me know if you have any questions!
